We made fun Easter snacks for Adina's Girl Scout troop (notice the thin - mint backs!) and First grade class. We had a lot of fun and the kids love them too.
Bubba and Madison were walking in from her car one morning and they both had their hands full of things. Madison came up the porch and said, "Help! I don't have no hands!" Bubba was behind her and gently corrected her "I don't have any hands!" Madison quickly replied, "Yes YOU DO!" Grammar lesson over!
I was reading an internet article to Marsha and Donovan about the teenage pregnancy pact in Massachusetts. We were having a little conversation about it not realizing that Adina was listening in. Finally she piped up and said, "teenagers are pregnant? How old are they?" I told her "15, 16 and 17." Adina said "Are they married?" I shook my head and said "No." To which Adina replied "Well, then, how did that happen???!!!" Donovan quickly said "I'm going to bed!" We managed to change the subject and avert that conversation for a little longer. THANK GOODNESS!
